Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Staff - Public to join our CPA firm based in Burnsville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various tax-related tasks, including preparing corporate and individual tax returns. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented and has the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns

• Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax return completion

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations

• Assist in training and mentoring new graduates joining the team

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the firm's growth strategy

• Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve client inquiries related to tax matters

• Work closely with partners to revamp the team and contribute to the firm's expansion

• Perform other tax-related duties as assigned. Requirements • Must have a proficiency in Corporate Tax Return and Individual Tax Return

• Open to candidates with 0+ years of experience in a CPA firm or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA certification or progress towards certification is preferred

• Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations

• Experience in public accounting is a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
