The MicrocellTM Product Manager for Cytiva is accountable for setting the strategy, roadmap, messaging, and feature definition for the product. The position will also include working with marketing to drive campaign development, driving sustainment projects, driving measures to support revenue growth, pricing and margin tracking.

This position is part of the Aseptic Filling business (formerly known as Vanrx) located in Burnaby, BC Canada. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the technology that makes the MicrocellTM such an innovative product in the aseptic filling space. Establish what our customers need from Cytiva through research and market data.

  • Use your understanding of our technology and competitive positioning to identify opportunities for profitable growth. Set the long-term vision and strategy for the MicrocellTM and communicate this strategy to internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of expertise.

  • Convert opportunities for profitable growth into innovation projects, and ensure those projects deliver on-time and realize their projected revenue targets.

  • Assess competitor products. Develop product positioning and messaging and ensure it is implemented throughout all the customer and sales facing material.

  • Set annual direction for pricing, promotion, quality and business improvements. Work with Sales to create product sales strategies and evaluate sales call results.

Who you are:

  • Recognizing the complexity of this role, the right candidate can demonstrate adaptability to new environments and a natural curiosity for how things work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent degree with 5+ years’ related experience in the life sciences industry. Preference will be given to those with drug product experience.

  • Previous experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience. Strong abilities to lead presentations and/or training.

  • Flexibility to travel for reasonable durations (1-2 weeks) up to 30% total travel load. This includes domestic and international trips.

Nice to have skills:

  • Prior knowledge of Danaher Business Systems (DBS) and the tools common to Product Management is a strong differentiator.

The annual salary range is $95,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
