Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Claims Admin Support Specialist in BURLINGTON, V. As part of our team, you will be involved in various clerical duties in the insurance industry, interacting with multiple internal and external contacts, and handling office functions under direct supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with various internal and external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, medical providers, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, etc. over the phone and through mail.

• Screen and direct incoming telephone calls.

• Manage office supplies and ensure their timely update.

• Operate and maintain office equipment including fax, printing, and copying machines.

• Coordinate office shredding with designated vendor.

• Conduct document maintenance tasks including creating, retrieving, delivering files, and copying documents.

• Compose routine correspondence as necessary.

• Receive and direct visitors while resolving routine inquiries.

• Handle the opening, sorting, and distribution of mail from USPS, FedEX, and other delivery companies.

• Perform various support duties such as setting up meetings, coordinating record retention, etc.

• Conduct additional tasks as needed, including research, reporting, and other duties as requested by leadership.

• Travel occasionally as part of the role.

• Provide support for workstation functions and maintain regular phone presence.

• Handle claim administration and perform clerical duties as required.

• Utilize leadership skills in executing tasks and interacting with team members.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Customer Service.

• Proficiency in Office Functions and Clerical Duties.

• Capable of Reporting, Procedures and Research Analysis.

• Familiarity with Workstation Support and Laptop Hardware.

• Excellent Phone Presence.

• Demonstrated Leadership Skills.

• Experience working with Vendors.

• Knowledge of Claim Administration.

• Willingness to Travel as part of the role.

• Proficiency in Scanning Documents, Machinery, Printing.

• Ability to handle Disability Benefits.

• Experience with FedEx, Lifting, Distributing Incoming Mail, Fax, and Copying.

• Knowledge of Law Enforcement procedures.

• Ability to work under Direct Supervision.

• Familiarity with R Code is a plus.
