Posting Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Registrar for Technology & Scheduling, create the Schedule of Courses for each term, run the course management process, manage the course deactivation process, process course action forms, and register first-time first year students using block scheduling software. Responsible for the set-up and continued accuracy of Parts of Term Sessions each term. Collaborate with Student Financial Services to ensure the Schedule of Courses complies with course fee structure and Federal Financial Aid policies. Clarify and interpret university policies and procedures for faculty, staff, and students.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in related field and three to five years’ progressively more complex experience in higher education registrar services required. Effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency with technology and familiarity with student information systems required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with BANNER student information system desirable.

Anticipated Pay Range $48,000 to $58,000

Other Information

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
