Join our Tendering Team in Burgos (Spain) as Tendering Engineer to help us take the Tendering Team to the next level.
In this role we are looking for a dynamic and energetic person who has a combination of technical/mechanical knowledge and commercial experience in rotating equipment in the water industry segment and in the Power Industry, especially for Circulating Water and Condensate Extraction applications for Combined Cycle or Concentrated Solar Power Plants. Knowledge in API standards for selected applications in the Oil & Gas and HPI industries will be welcomed.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
• Support Sulzer Sales Team on key project by providing them with competitive pump selections.
• Outline possible technical solutions and selected the most competitive equipment for any given project out of the products assigned to Burgos’ plant by interacting with the Engineering team.
• Produce timely and accurate Tenders according to client’s specific requirements and in line with the Company standards in terms of Costing and Pricing evaluating the projects lead time according to the current factory workload by interacting with the Operations team.
• Negotiate with sub suppliers all necessary equipment for an specific project by interacting with the Procurement team.
• Project’s follow up with continuous communication with the different Sales.
• Team providing value added support when required.
• Provide training to Sales on the products tendered from Burgos.
• Provide support to the IT Team to keep the internal CRM tool for Burgos.
• Products up to date.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• The base location for this job will be Burgos.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
• Between 3 and 5 years relevant experience in related environments.
• Full command of English and Spanish is a must.
• Fluency in French and or German is an advantage.
• Availability for occasionally travelling in Spain and abroad.
• Analytical thinker and with effective negotiation skills: Able to discern what is important out of customer’s
