Hiring a Medical Assistant in Burbank, CA

Description:

Fast paced clinic looking for a Medical Assistant to do the following in Primary Care:

-Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.

-Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.

-Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.

Pay:

$21-24/hr (based on experience and certifications)

Schedule:

M- F - 8am - 5pm (Full Time)

Must Haves:

  • MA diploma is MUST

  • Active BLS Cert is MUST

  • HS diploma is MUST

Preferred Experience:

  • Spanish Speaking - Preferred but not Required

  • Certified Medical Assistant - Preferred but not Required

  • Front Office/Medical Receptionist experience - Preferred but not Required

Experience Level:

  • Entry Level - accepting candidates that recently completed their MA diploma with active bls cert

  • Intermediate- accepting 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able to be flexible and work where needed as well as work in a fast paced environment.
