SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ACCOUNTING MANAGER - International Company in Buford, GA
My client, an international company in Gwinnett County, is searching for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for their office in Buford, Georgia. The role involves overseeing various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Collaboration with other departments to facilitate the financial operations of the organization is also a crucial aspect of the role.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the functions of accounts payable and receivables from initiation to completion.
Accurately process weekly check and deposit runs along with bank reconciliations.
Generate financial reports and carry out financial analysis.
Aid in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist with the preparation and tracking of various tax documents and registrations, including payroll taxes.
Review, process, and manage the expense reimbursement process.
Aid in the implementation of a new collections system.
Supervise the billing and collections specialist role.
Offer support to the Payroll Contractor and help define future Payroll processes.
Assist with the annual audit process by providing the necessary documentation and details required.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field of study
Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in handling Billing Functions and Check Runs
Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations
Solid understanding of Financial Reporting and Financial Analysis
Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
Skilled in managing Payroll and Expense Reimbursements
Familiarity with maintaining General Ledger
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
Knowledge of Paycom for payroll management
Experience in using Sage Intacct accounting software
