Job Description:

Provides leadership on a 24 hour basis to the Central Sterile Department and other locations/areas as assigned in order to provide for the entire sites needs as well as assess, plan, implement and evaluate new equipment and supplies. Responsible for the overall workflow in department. Promote the mission, vision, and values of Kaleida Health. Direct, plan, and organize the staff and activities of assigned departments. Ensure best practices relating to decontamination, sterilization, preparing, assembling and packaging of all instruments are adhered to by the staff. Utilize key performance indicators for trending areas in need of improvement. Act as a role model and maintain proficiency in all areas of responsibilities.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Applied Science in Healthcare or similar field preferred. 5 years of experience in Central Processing required. 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Cert Registered Central Service Tech, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician required, or Certified Surgical Technologist required. Reg Specific Continuing Education (10hrs) required.

Salary Range:

$47,482.50-$65,286 annually Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
