From your PASSION to ours
The Intern will be expected to work for up to one-year duration at 40 hours per week, split between 3 days at the South Park (Buffalo) office and the remainder remote (Primary residence). They will be responsible for assisting the Distribution and Non-Commercial teams with trade spend processing & spending analysis, business performance summaries, marketing execution recaps & analysis, as well as cross functional communication between the sales, marketing and trade spending groups. With these responsibilities, the intern will serve as a key conduit between the fully remote Corporate Accounts sales team and the main office. These functions will also entail some direct interaction with customers from time to time.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Assist and support the Distribution and Non-Commercial Teams with cross-functional internal processes, including price & trade spend analysis, claims research & processing, price alignment issues,
Utilization of insights and execution to share ROI on all marketing partnerships.
Work closely with Trade Marketing (Revenue Management) team to ensure the distribution and non-commercial teams are meeting trade spend objectives and targets. (Distribution= 3rd party distributors of our products, Non Commercial = College & University, B&I, Healthcare, Travel and Leisure etc.)
Streamline execution of current marketing partnerships with customer groups and recommend improvements utilizing both internal and customer marketing resources.
Will be required to develop a significant knowledge of the Lactalis Culinary product portfolio, our go-to-market strategy, and key sales priorities.
Maintain effective and cooperative relationships with members of the Trade Marketing, Marketing and other teams within Lactalis.

Will possess a bachelor’s degree or in college working on a master’s degree. Will have strong business acumen in the areas of Sale and Finance, a solid understanding of corporate and general business principles and practices, have a high competency in Excel and PowerPoint, and be able to perform complicated tasks within these programs. Will also have knowledge and expertise in Word.
