Summary: Assists in monitoring and helping to maintain the company's network/server systems; interacts with the Network Technician II and Senior Network Technician to troubleshoot network/server systems when necessary; assists with low level project and operational activities. Requires on-site support for basic & intermediate level requests for Information Technology clients/end devices, applications, & server/network infrastructure per the responsibilities listed below.

Salary range for this position is $61,516 - $78,307 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time IT experience; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time IT experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:

  • General Windows client and server operating system experience
  • Experience working a Service Desk or other customer service position. Communication via phone and email
  • Networking technologies. DNS, DHCP, routing, etc
  • O365 cloud services experience. Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Stream, Entra AD.
  • VMware skills. Change vCPU, vRAM, vNIC, vMotion, etc
  • History of troubleshooting, in-person and remote
  • Documentation creation, written and oral communication skills
  • Collaboration with team members, passion for the role, and initiative
