A successful Associate Machine Shop Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the machine shop, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. They supervise a team of machinists and operators, maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure adherence to production schedules and specifications to deliver high customer satisfaction and on-time delivery performance. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of tasks including programming.

The Machine Shop Supervisor will supervise and coordinate activities of machine shop teammates, including assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to production schedule and quality standards. Coach and develop machine shop teammates to maximize their effectiveness and ensure they are cross trained to progress their career at Conax. Clearly articulate performance expectations, provide performance feedback, and hold associates accountable to foster a positive work environment. Active participation in the problem-solving process to properly address operational issues as they arise. Assist in developing production schedules, re-promise dates, and workflow plans to optimize productivity. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations and meet or exceed customer expectations. Lead by example in lean manufacturing principles of 5S, Daily Management, Visual Management and Variation reduction techniques to deliver customer schedules on-time, while reducing scrap, improving external DPM, and manufacturing productivity.

We are looking for someone who has is Bachelor or appropriate combination of education and experience, and someone who above all can and will exemplify our core values of values integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer service, and teamwork. Prior experience with leading teams or supervising others strongly preferred. CNC Machine Programing experience preferred.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. Salary range for this role is $68,000 - $95,000 annually based upon experience.
