Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for general labor positions in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to adapt to various tasks.
Responsibilities
Follow strict food manufacturing safety guidelines.
Perform general cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping, mopping floors, and shoveling flour into barrels.
Replace light bulbs and clean up flour on all 9 floors of the facility, as well as the exterior.
Work independently to complete assigned tasks.
Ensure safety as the top priority.

Work Environment
The facility is a large flour mill and distribution center with a focus on safety. The building is old and typically very warm. Candidates must be prepared to work on every level of the building and will be covered in flour daily. Contractors are required to wear work pants, shirts, steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hair nets, and beard nets, and must follow all GMP requirements. Shifts are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with candidates expected to work 6 days per week. Overtime is available after 40 hours, and while the 6th day is not mandatory, it is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
