OverviewThe Delivery-Installer is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional service delivery to our customers. While performing the duties of this role, the Delivery-Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices. PAY RATE: $20-22/Hour (Depending on Exp)ResponsibilitiesDriving an automatic 26 ft. box truck (non CDL) or 16ft box truck.Manually break down freight and receive into computer system.Assist with warehouse activities when a delivery route is not assignedPreparation and assembly of equipment for deliveryManually handle equipment from pallets and load to hand truck to delivery location.Troubleshooting delivery/installation issuesSmall package deliveryOperating a forklift (Certification Required) will certify if neededUtilize pallet jack to move pallets of product to and from truck to delivery location.Perform tasks in a safe manner and comply with company policies and procedures.Attending required safety trainingsMaintaining a professional appearance and conduct during work hoursIdeal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or EquivalentOSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus (Company paid if certification isn’t current)Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial distribution a plusExperience in Warehouse/Foodservice related industry a plusExcellent interpersonal / communication skills and a collaborative work styleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail with minimal supervisionSelf-motivatedCustomer orientedMinimum 3 month’s experience with driving 16 or 26 foot box truck (non-CDL)Valid driver’s licenseClean driving recordProficiency in reading layout drawings a plusProficiency in use of hand and power toolsAble to operate powered material handling equipmentAbility to lift 75+ pounds and carry 50+ poundsPrimary work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
