About the Role:
As the president of the medical and dental staff, you will be a champion of our health equity initiatives. You’ll use your strategic thinking, good judgment, and interpersonal skills as you solve problems and drive change. You’ll report directly to the CEO and be a key strategic advisor. You’ll collaborate with clinical leaders to design and implement meaningful training, development, and performance management goals. Essential duties include:
Leads strategic direction, development, and management of all medical dental leadership and staff.
Serve as president of the medical/dental staff: enforce bylaws, plan executive MedDent staff meetings
Champion efficiency and quality improvement through oversight of our clinical quality program
Facilitate the evaluation, development and implementation of annual clinical expectations, budgets, and visit volumes in collaboration with CEO and budgeting team
Manage clinical risk, and the master clinician schedule
The CMO will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Avenue in Buffalo, and will also travel to other Neighborhood sites on a regular basis.

Education and Experience to be CMO:
Medical degree and valid MD/DO medical license
10+ years of clinical experience, 4+ years of management experience
Advanced degree in MBA or MHA, preferred
Fluent in English. A second language of Spanish is preferred.
What We Offer:
Compensation: $280,000 - $290,000

We also offer a 403b match, health savings accounts with employer contribution, wellbeing programs, continuing medical education stipend for providers, medical malpractice coverage under FTCA, generous paid time off and twice yearly bonus potential.
Tuition Reimbursement: Our status as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) means physicians have an opportunity for tuition reimbursement up to $75,000 for a full time commitment and up to $37,500 for a part time commitment. A two year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. The reimbursement program requires an application and is not guaranteed.
