Job Description

GPI is seeking an Administrative Intern to assist with the Administrative, Accounting, and Human Resources duties in a fast-paced environment while working closely with the Administrative and Management team members within the Branch. Candidates should be well-organized with strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Administrative tasks, including:
    • Assist with general office duties, including copying, filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper distribution to relevant departments.
    • Maintain and update company records and filing systems, both physical and digital.
    • Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
    • Help manage office supplies inventory and assist with ordering when necessary.
    • Perform any other administrative tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.
  • Assist with Accounting and Human Resources tasks, including:
    • Assist in basic accounting tasks such as invoices, accounts payable, and billings.
    • Help with HR-related activities, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and assisting with company events and communications.
    • Learn and support various tasks within accounting, HR, and administrative functions to gain exposure to business operations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in administrative and accounting tasks is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated team-oriented behavior.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
