GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable department of approximately eight (8) employees, ensuring the accuracy of all accounts receivable and producing financial management reports for a non-for-profit agency serving multiple counties with a larger consumer base.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Leading and assisting the Accounts Receivable team with electronic billing for Medicaid and private insurance companies.
Liaison between electronic billing company and the agency.
Monitor and investigate accounts receivable discrepancies.
Produce financial and management reports that provide accurate data pertaining to revenue and collection.
Mapping and importing billing related data between the electronic billing and general ledger accounting systems.
Ensure the accuracy of generated billing rates.
Create and process Invoices were needed. Prepare entries to record account receivables and revenues to the appropriate accounts.
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Associate degree in business administration, finance or accounting OR Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or accounting
Professional and life experience may be considered in lieu of, in full or part of academic credentials.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (if required): Two (2) - five (5) years of experience in an accounts receivable management role is required.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must have intermediate level of knowledge of computers including the use of Excel spreadsheets, databases, word processing and networks.
