* This role will report into one of our Corporate Hubs. If you are near to one of the following locations, you must work in the office 2 or more days a week: Woonsocket RI, Hartford CT, Scottsdale AZ, Chicago IL, or Dallas TX. There may be other Corporate locations which will be taken into consideration as well.*

Job Description

This role will provide subject matter expertise for Aetna Clinical Services FP&A consolidations. Responsibilities will include FP&A functions (Budgeting & Forecasting, Expense Management, Month Close & Reporting), Operations support (membership-based and metrics driven staffing models), and managing business partnerships. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is needed along with experience with Aetna Finance systems and processes.

Fundamental components

  • Drive end-to-end Finance support for assigned unit in Aetna Clinical Services

  • Finance partner for assigned unit

  • Liaison to HCB Segment & Transformation Finance teams on all matters related to assigned unit

  • Opportunity to understand your assigned unit and become a subject matter expert on operations while overseeing different requirements from key stakeholders

  • Own membership-based staffing models for various functions and products, drive efficient staffing increases with business growth

  • Develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets; build rapport and accountability with individual cost center owners to maximize effectiveness

  • Provide bottom’s up detail to show support for forecasts and annual budgets

  • Facilitate and manage month close; evaluate, analyze and present monthly financial results to Business and Finance leaders

  • Liaison to HCB Segment on all matters related to Clinical Services SG&A

  • Support special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses

  • Be a creative problem solver within fast evolving environment and have ability to adapt to change

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years related accounting/financial experience, business planning, accounting and/or financial analysis/reporting

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is needed along with experience with financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare Finance

  • Aetna Finance systems and processes

  • Proficiency with hyperion

  • Commercial/Medicare Segment knowledge

  • Advanced degree in Business and/or FSA/CPA

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; focus in Finance or Accounting preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $136,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
