Robert Half AV Support Specialist in Buellton, California

Description We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to join our team in Buellton, California. You will be working within the telecom industry, providing key support for our audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment. This role requires a strong background in AV systems, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including sound systems, projectors, displays, and video conferencing systems.

• Collaborate with clients and event organizers to determine their audiovisual needs and provide technical support and solutions.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Assist with the planning and execution of events, including equipment setup, testing, and teardown.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies and trends, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and improvements.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Customer Service, Customer Support, and Production.

• Operate PBX - PABX, PC Desktop - Workstation, WPAN - Wireless Personal Area Network, MS Office, Mac OS, SharePoint, and TCP/IP - Transm Ctrl Prot/Internet Prot systems.

• Ensure high-quality customer service and support is provided at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Customer Service, Customer Support, Production, PBX - PABX, PC Desktop - Workstation, WPAN - Wireless Personal Area Network, MS Office, Mac OS, SharePoint, TCP/IP - Transm Ctrl Prot/Internet Prot.

• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional product support and customer service.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

• Proven ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with product lifecycle management and understanding of production processes.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proven track record of maintaining professional and knowledgeable customer interactions.
