You will:

· The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience with technical experience in scripting languages such as Python, PERL and the FIX protocol. Hands on experience with development and test automation tools/frameworks are desired. The candidate will be expected to act as a representative for ALGO QA working very closely with the development managers and key stakeholders in the technology organization to ensure the product deliverables meets the business needs. You have:

· 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and test automation

· Technical experience in Python, PERL or related scripting language

· Knowledge with the FIX protocol preferred

· Proficient knowledge of basic coding principles

· Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments

· Experience working with source control / defect tracking and continuous integration systems

· Adopt best practices when developing automation code including comment documentation, maintainability and data-driven development

· Ability to partner with peers and management team to continuously improve testing methods, process, techniques and use of tools

· A quick learner, being able to adapt to a fast paced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge

· Knowledge of trading life cycle with exposure to trading and matching engines will be preferred

· Basic understanding of capital markets, electronic trading, order flow and execution, FIX protocol

· Detail oriented and be able to work in a fast paced environment

· Strong verbal and written communication

You might also have:

· An understanding of the trading life cycle and the capital markets are highly desired. Hands on experience with development and test automation tools/frameworks are also recommended.

Team Profile:

Algorithmic Trading Services QA is a global team assembled to provide Quality Assurance services for software developed for the Algorithmic Electronic Trading, Client and Exchange Connectivity teams inside of Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading, part of the global Institutional Securities Business. The role is to join the existing team and help to grow the coverage globally by building automation solutions and provide full End to End testing. The testing team is a good mix of full-time employees, and contractor resources located globally.
