Description and Requirements At Lenovo we are looking for our new Technology Consultant: What You will do: Design, implement, and manage platform automation using Ansible. Integrate REST APIs to enhance platform functionality. Troubleshoot automation scripts in Python to improve operational efficiency. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for application deployment and scaling. Monitor and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Configure and manage virtual machines using VMware. Implement and manage cloud platforms based on VMware technology (optional). Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and security. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications in a multi-tenancy environment. What we expect from You: Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management. Strong experience with Docker for containerization. Good programming skills in Python. Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls. Experience with REST API integration or development. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiarity with VMware for virtualization. Expertise in Linux system administration. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Hybrid Cloud, or VMware Cloud on AWS (optional). Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or ARA. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
