Job Description Summary

Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing a feature/feature set: writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

  • Makes technology decisions that are aligned with the architecture, cost considerations, development time and user experience.

  • Analyzes impact of technology choices.

  • Has a deep knowledge in most of the key product components. Able to design new components that are in sync with the existing architecture.

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts

  • Anticipates / foresees higher level technology challenges and gives possible solutions.

  • Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends.

  • Applies principles of Agile/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high quality, secured, and scalable software modules.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with technologies such as Java, Node.js, Angular

  • Prior work experience in an agile environment.

  • Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).

  • General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.

  • Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables.
