Citigroup Liquidity Treasury Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

Our team is responsible to provide analytical support to the senior management to meet the existing and new regulatory and internal requirements through the oversight of the liquidity ratios ; same which can result in suggestions to the relevant decision makers.

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring the liquidity reports are compliant as per regulation and to the bank chain/broker dealer business activity, providing guidance on products treatment and owning development for the existing projects. The overall objective of this role is to act as a trusted advisor to our stakeholders in country finance to help in the decision making on Corporate Treasury actions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with Front Office Finance Desks, Risk Treasury, Corporate Treasury and other businesses to keep the Legal Entity within the regulatory requirements, manage liquidity optimally and in impactful manner.

  • Prepare deep dive analysis on business activity to validate variances in liquidity.

  • Support the review of the Legal Entity's Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment (ILAAP)/Funding Liquidity Plan (FLP)/Contingency Funding Plan (CFP).

  • Participate in developing new reporting processes, improve existing processes and controls.

  • Gain exposure to and learn about Citi’s Balance Sheet, liquidity management, and investment activities as well as business products.

What we are looking for:

  • The individual should have 2-4 years of work experience preferably in banking sector.

  • Self-driven and motivated to own issues resolution.

  • Ability to work and connect with different teams, including clear communication.

  • Good understanding of Bank/Broker Dealer’s Balance Sheet

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • Advanced English language knowledge

  • Proven data management and analysis skills
