Introduction

At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

Your role and responsibilities

This technical role is focused on providing Networking subject matter expertise to assist with architecting first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions on complex pre & post-sale opportunities including client critical situations and onboarding acceleration.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Architect level certification in at least one hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong knowledge and experience of hybrid cloud design & solutioning in IBM Cloud or another hyperscaler.

• Strong archtectural design background and experience and cloud delivery experience including hands on.

• Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams.

• Deep technical knowledge and experience of Networking on Public Cloud (any hyperscaler).

• Self-Starter who is a fast learner of technology and willing to experiment to find the best solutions

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

• Knowledge of one or more of the following: VMWare, Red Hat OpenShift, Power Virtual Server

• Knowledge of Cloud Security & Compliance, Non functional requirements such as Backup, DR, etc
