Global HR Operations (GHRO) is part of Diageo Business Services, providing HR support to 23,000 employees in 70+ countries, worldwide. Services – amongst many others – include Resourcing, On-boarding, Off-boarding Compensation & Reward administration and Payroll.

About the role

The person in this role will be dedicated to customer service and resolving queries with a high degree of quality and accuracy. They will also demonstrate good judgement to interpret the customers’ need and appropriate response. They receive and process requests (including document generation) and enquiries using the technology and documentation provided. The HR Operations Specialist will have specialist knowledge and will manage cases end to end to resolution. This team will provide a streamlined, consistent and highly effective range of services for its customers with key focus on providing best in class on- and offboarding experience.

Accountabilities

  • Serve as key contact/liaison with local HR in market to ensure that the process, including notifications, reflect current ways of working

  • Manages activities relating to all workload on the Service Now query management system, including comprehensive notes and audit trails

  • Monitor the completion of the Employee and Line Manager on- and offboarding activities including joiner/mover/leaver processes (Follow-up calls and emails)

  • Manage all queries with stakeholders related to on- and offboarding process via e-mail and phone

  • Manage requests of Onboarding/Offboarding Questionnaires

  • Creates and issue legal employment documentation with high accuracy (using Doc Genie, Workday and ServiceNow) and maintains master document templates

About You

Experience required/Skills/capabilities/Languages

  • Good English and Italian knowledge

  • Understands and has a deep knowledge of HR policies, procedures and practices and able to advise on them in a clear and consistent way

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and use data

  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office applications to an advanced level, including Excel and Word, essential
