What is the job about?

The Global Mobility Specialist supports the work of the Senior Global Mobility Consultants and the Head of Global Mobility by juggling multiple tasks, preparing complex calculations and balance sheets, tracking different steps of international moves, liaising with the vendors to support our employees and their families, and implementing the mobility agenda across Grundfos divisions and locations.

As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will support global policies, focused on identifying and implementing innovative ways to enhance processes, maximize effectiveness and improve the employee and business experience. You have the ability to identify and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Advise stakeholders on global mobility solutions according to Grundfos’ policies and processes.

  • Communicate and coordinate with third-party providers, such as relocation agents, insurance brokers, tax consultants etc., to manage immigration, insurance, pension, taxes, transport of personal belongings, etc.

  • Manage different steps of assignment for international moves

  • Support salary regulations and other monetary and non-monetary benefits for our relocated colleagues including close collaboration with the local payroll team

  • Communicate with and advise local HR and our relocated colleagues throughout the entire relocation process, from package decision to repatriation

  • Responsible for implementing local processes fully aligned with the Global Mobility processes to ensure compliance with local law and regulations

  • Ensure governance around labour law, collective agreements, and local agreements

  • Contribute to payroll set-up in new countries

  • Ensure a link between HR and Payroll and optimization in payroll

Your background

You are curious, outreach and result oriented towards the challenges that arise in the organization. You enjoy a structured and detail-oriented approach, but at the same time you are successful in keeping an overview in a hectic everyday life. It is important for you to understand others, therefore you have an effective communication style, you like to plan and organize things and when it comes to numbers you thrive to show your sense of numbers and great analytical skills.

We imagine that you have:

  • Relevant educational background master’s degree or bachelor’s degree

  • At least 2+ years relevant experience which can be from different global HR functions, but you have a great interest to continue in Mobility

  • Experience and ability to work within a multicultural team

  • Project management experience is desirable, including the management of activities carried out by third-party suppliers

  • Understanding of HR policies, including compensation and benefits

  • Great communication skills in writing and speech in English

  • An experience in HR or payroll is a plus

  • Global understanding of tax, social security and immigration matters is a plus
