Citigroup Finance Reporting Sr. Manager in Budapest, Hungary

EMEA Regulatory Reporting Citi Solutions Centre (CSC) in Budapest is a key part of the Finance function. It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of reporting across multiple countries. The LRR Implementations team work on automating manual processes, and managing change for automated solutions.

As part of this team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with working with Finance reporting teams as well as the Technology department on automation projects covering regulatory reports.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate across various functions, principally within Finance, Technology and Risk

  • Engage your stakeholders in Country Finance, Markets Controllers, Treasury and other departments

  • Elicit and document business requirements for existing and new reporting processes

  • Prepare and execute test scripts for the solution developed

  • Identify and escalate data or logic gaps

  • Document new processes and prepare user guides for new systems and features

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve objectives.

  • Assess risks and issues related to the reporting process and work with your management to establish plans to mitigate or resolve them.

  • Collaborate/support across various functions, principally within Finance and Risk.

What we’ll need from you:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Experience with COREP, FINREP or risk reporting will be helpful

  • Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization

  • Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask

  • Technology aptitude: you will have to co-operate with Technology staff, we need you to speak their language

  • Proven organization and time management skills

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Enthusiastic team player

  • You will implement regulatory project changes so experience in COREP/Liquidity reporting is an advantage
