Finance Business Analyst

What is the job about?

The Finance Business Analyst is a key support for Finance Business Partner and Management of Water Utility Product Development.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Form and improve financial systems and processes to serve effectively business requirements in reporting and decision making. In addition, responsibilities include Budget/Forecast planning and follow-up (department and project spending) – including trend analysis and proposal of optional actions.

  • Daily collaboration with Finance Business Partner related to financial and performance data

  • Assist in creating business fitting Budget and Forecast methods, analyze reported figures

  • Collaborate with global Finance Controlling – information sharing and correction

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis for decision making

  • Maintain and track Bluebook (project tracking system) activities with project managers

  • Evaluate and lead system changes with Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A)

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance,

  • 3-5 years experience in Finance role using SAP FI,

  • Strong analysing skills

  • Strong Excel knowledge

  • Communicational level of Hungarian and English

  • Initiative personality and deep dive approach of financial system structures
