Citigroup Enterprise Architecture Senior Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The Enterprise Architecture group (EA), a member of EO&T, acts as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving the transformation of Citi into a simpler, more efficient, and customer-centric organization. EA is responsible for partnering with business lines and functions to establish the framework and set the strategy for, and execute the Business Simplification Program, which includes developing enterprise-wide domain taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures, conducting assessments to develop strategic solutions, and creating process & design re-engineering models (process mapping and business architecture) to enable scalable and sustainable operational environment, reduce process complexities and strengthen the risk and control environment. EA also provides the businesses and functions with ongoing governance, program oversight, and reporting with key metrics to ensure consistency, continuity, and accountability as it relates to the program.

The Vice President (VP) - Business Transformation & Process Modernization Lead will work across multiple initiatives within The Enterprise Architecture group (EA). The ideal candidate should have experience in strategy and transformation, project management, process improvement and change management. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively partner with cross functional teams and negotiate internally.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns a project or specific workstream within a project, leveraging expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team

  • Utilize business process reengineering techniques, model business processes, conduct assessment and detailed data analysis to examine end-to-end business processes and identify strategic solutions to improve efficiency and operations.

  • Monitor key performance indicators, determine gaps in performance metrics, and recommend change management techniques for quality improvements.

  • Assesses project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur.

  • Applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals.

  • Possess the knowledge, skills and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming.

  • Communicates to all concerned parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues.

  • Create and monitor project plans. Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity/progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in process reengineering or management consulting in a Big Four consulting firm within the banking and capital markets sector.

  • Expertise in process design and process improvement is a must. Compliance, Retail or Finance background preferred.

  • Expert in value stream mapping, root cause analysis, change management and project management.

  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and presentation skills

  • Full understanding of end-to end project management lifecycle

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean equivalent or PMP, are a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree and/or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred but not required
