Data Quality Governance Associate, Wealth Management Risk

Team Profile: Wealth Management Risk is responsible for overseeing the risk and control framework within the WM business unit. The group teams up with the various business units as well as the Firm Risk Management group to implement control processes and procedures and protect the firm from exposure to various risks including operational, credit, investment, trading, reputational and model risk.

The Data Quality Governance Associate will be working on projects tied to the development and enhancement of our platforms that focus on managing Data Quality related risk. This includes data analytics related tasks as well as process improvement efforts or gathering requirements for upcoming projects. All such tasks require the Data Quality Governance Associate to partner with our internal clients both on business and technology side to add the most value to the program. Building relationships within the organization and communicating effectively are therefore essential skills for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with stakeholders, business managers and technology partners in order to identify and solve the most impactful deliverables Perform analytics and monitoring of data quality measurements o Gather requirements to develop and maintain reports to senior management and agile squads o Prepare a variety of reports and presentations for internal clients and management as required o Drive process improvements within the business processes to gain efficiencies o Analyze variances of actual results to expectations and provide meaningful recommendations and observations for performance management Assist the decision-making processes by providing deep and meaningful insights Experience:

3-5 years experience in analytics/business analyst role in financial industry and/or business management preferred Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree will be a plus.

Required skills:

Highly motivated / self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English with the ability to tailor message to audience Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Detail oriented and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to determine business partner needs

You might also have:

Background in the Financial Services Industry, with an emphasis on wealth management Experience with Python, SQL or DataIKU Data visualization experience (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
