As a Channel Data Analyst, you will manage and coordinate the aggregation of key financial performance data for the channel business across Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of Electrical Sector-EMEA Finance function.
You will develop and manage processes for the collection of channel financial data and net price calculation aligned to accounting under the functional lead of the Director of Commercial Policy, Channel, supporting Electrical Sector-EMEA’s Commercial Teams goals, and providing quality data in a timely fashion to feed into the ES-EMEA Commercial Performance Analytics Teams reports.
The main areas of activities will be in liaising with Country Channel Sales Organisations and Distributors to collect, check, and verify key Channel data sources.
Your key responsibilities:
Provide the required financial information as an input into the annual Partner Advantage Programme planning process
Working to an agreed schedule, acquire and collate the individual PAP country plans, creating a consolidated EMEA PAP plan
Working with the country channel sales teams manage a schedule of delivery for Sales Out & Sales In data sets from both our IT and Electrical Wholesalers distributors
Support channel marketing dashboard including MDF, integrated campaign and partner program dashboard
Carry out a defined series of quality checks on the Sales Out datasets to ensure that they meet the required level for upload into our analytic environment
Work with country channel sales teams and distributors to correct any quality issues or delays in this process
Support the Commercial Channel Team's wider remit to provide quality data to the Electrical Sector EMEA’s business by contributing to shared projects, and supporting other projects in this area
Support the Commercial Performance Analytics Team's remit to provide quality sales and logistic reporting to the Commercial Channel Team and wider Channel Sales community
Minimum Bachelor level degree in a field with a high level of mathematical learning eg STEM, Accountancy
Years and area of experience required: 2-3 years
Working knowledge of data quality techniques and approaches
Advanced Power BI knowledge to set up and maintain dashboards
Confidence in and competence with Excel
Familiarity with the financial systems (SAP, optional Oracle) and financial reporting
Good organisation skills, in particular running a regular schedule of activities
Attention to detail
Knows when to ask for assistance to solve problems
Able to work across cultures
Good communicator/networking abilities
Legal requirements (specific to Country): EU working permit
