Citigroup Business Management Tools Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

Business & Travel Shared Services (BTSS) operates ten core services for Citi across 80 countries and with over 2,000 resources, impacting nearly every Citi employee. Our services include Mail & Distribution, Managed Print Devices, Archiving, Marketing, Global Travel, Corporate Credit Card, Fleet, Ground Transportation, Transaction Print along with a host of other services that we provide on behalf of our business partners. We are seeking to add another dynamic contributor to the Business & Travel Shared Services Organization.

The Business Management Tools Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.


  • Manage, maintain, and enhance existing organizational tools developed in SharePoint, Power BI, and other tools standard Microsoft analytical tools

  • Design and create new information management, analytics, and workflow digital tools; implement globally

  • Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance

  • Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc

  • Recommends and executes on actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies

  • Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings

  • Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies

Ideal background:

  • Advanced SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online, and Power BI capabilities are a requirement along with other workflow, data capture and reporting tools

  • Experience with JavaScript preferred

  • Experience with Data Transformation using Knime preferred

  • Experience with .NET and/or SQL preferred

  • 5-8 years of experience

  • This position requires excellent analytical and business strategy skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals

  • Project and process management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience with a prior focus in financial services analytics

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive
