Your Role and Responsibilities

A sneak peek into this role:

The Benefit and Pension SME is responsible for the operation and execution of end-to-end processes - and related control activities - of all Beneftis and Pension plans in Germany. The pension focal is part of the EMEA Pension team and will be working in a global environment (IBM).

Why you'll love your job:

  • Pension Benefit Management activities for the DB plan - incl separation/retirement/death

  • Be able to explain complex pension set up for employees

  • Implementation of new HR system

  • Work closely with Finance, Payroll, HR as well as with external parties

  • Implementation and execution of Pension plans and design changes

  • Communication of Pension plans

  • End-to-end handling of pension plans

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What you will bring to the team:

  • German and English language skills - written and verbal

  • Good negotiation skills, ability to hold difficult conversations

  • Ability to work with numbers in an accurate way with attention to details

  • Ability to work independently with a personal drive

  • Teaming with existing local & global (regional) HR team as well as with external vendors/suppliers

  • Client focus
