Citigroup Bank Network Management - Relationship Management Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

This role provide support to the Global Bank Network Management (BNM) team who are responsible for managing agent bank relationships supporting Citi business.
BNM is part of the SMB&IC Operations & Technology (O&T) Division. BNM provides best in class banking services to our business partners and clients, while strengthening regulatory compliance, governance, and control over Citi owned bank accounts. BNM global functions include: Relationship Management, Regulatory, Bank Expense Optimization, Bank Signatory Management (BSM), Third Party Risk and In Business Risk & Control.
The Relationship function is responsible for managing relationships with agent banks to provide transparency, governance, and control over real world bank accounts which Citi businesses hold globally, both with affiliates and 3rd party banks.
The role includes activities ranging from account openings and closings, bank relationship management, maintenance and confirmation of account information in the account repository, negotiation & processing of bank related documentation, communication of market practices and regulations, fee negotiations and service reviews.
As a Relationship Management Analyst you will:
Support the Network Managers in managing the relationship with the agent bank network providing clearing, settlement, custody, cash and credit services
Ensure that all legal documentation is signed, scanned and linked
Maintain agent bank details on BNM-Hub and ensure this is kept up to date
Ensure that account structure, documentation and credit arrangements meet Regulatory requirements (ie FCA/SEC, etc)
Handle and update the central record of cash and security accounts that are open throughout the agent network
Involvement in high profile Projects relating to Risk Management, Data Integrity and Process Management
Ideal background:

At least 3-5 years of experience in the international financial services industry, preferably Network Management, Account Management, Finance, International Securities or Treasury Operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
College / University Degree
Project Work experience (planning and execution)
Mandatory Experience: dealing with third parties such as banks or service providers
Knowledge of MS Office desktop applications; familiarity with TLM, Flexcube, BOX, GCMS is a plus
Good analytical and presentation skills, strong time management skills
Organised approach with good attention to detail
Nice to have working knowledge of the following: cash and securities settlement process, custody operations, foreign exchange, derivatives, payments
