About the Function

The Cash Cycle Department is a consolidation of Order To cash, Purchase To Pay and the related Master Data (Vendor, Customer, Pricing) from a structural point of view.

It ensures proper operation of processes from a Data Entry and Validation perspective and quality Service Delivery and Issue Resolution for the markets served and the customers and vendors of, and business relations within Diageo.

Global PTP Process covers a wide range of activities starting from the vendor being set up within SAP with the correct master data to the moment the supplier’s invoice is paid. To enable effective and efficient process operation it is important that Diageo is able to understand how each part of the process is working, and how improvements could be implemented.

About the Role

• Ensure that valid and accurately booked supplier invoices are paid in time according to the processing standards.

• Monitor payment file transmissions to the bank.

• Continuous maintenance and reconciliation of payment clearing ledgers

• Monitor payment exceptions and urgent payments

• Monitoring all payments and returned payments in conjunction with cash management

• Resolving banking problems with banking partner when required

• Ensure incoming queries are answered/resolved within the agreed timeframe

• Finding solutions for all incoming/upcoming queries – investigate, monitor, follow up issues and provide information on progress

• Understand customer service and cultural needs of each market.

• Support process improvement ideas in PTP

About You

• High degree in finance, economics, education or communication

• Fluent English, Hungarian and Italian language knowledge

• Strong MS Office knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to communicate and operate at all levels within the organization

• Able to effectively prioritize incoming issues and build on acquired knowledge when making decisions in own area of responsibility

• Prior experience in Cash Cycle processes is desirable
