IBM Accounts Payable Professional (Japanese speaker - Night shift) in Budapest, Hungary

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an addition to our Global Accounts Payable Center in Budapest, Hungary to assist our already established Invoice Management squads for Japan. You will be providing

financial support to the Accounts Payable organization. Our center handles all kinds of tasks that are required ranging from invoice reception to payments. As you will be working in an agile environment you need to be open to learn new things and strive for innovation.

You will provide financial support to IBM's Global Accounts Payable organization.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform invoice scanning, data registration, error resolution, internal controlling tasks

  • Ensure providing quantitative and qualitative work

  • Learn, understand and keep the procedures, documentations, instructions and auditing / business controls guidelines

  • Keep internal target dates

  • Develop own skills and knowledge aligned to business strategy by sharing it with other team members

  • Participating / facilitating in diverse Agile ceremonies to discuss status of project activities, actions, tasks, blockers; providing input about completed and closed items

  • Using team collaboration tools

  • Work in an Agile environment

  • Recommending process changes and contribute to the whole lifecycle of the projects

  • Driving, owning and supporting process enhancement / modification initiatives

  • Maintaining good working relationships with all parties

  • Practise the culture of helpfulness

  • Provide assistance to management in ad hoc projects

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Good communication skills - both written and spoken in Japanese AND English proficiency

  • Willingness to work in Japanese time zone shift (2 AM - 10 AM CET)

  • Confident Microsoft Office skills

  • Project management

  • Teamwork

  • Problem solving & visualisation of problems and solutions

  • Ability to adapt and manage change effectively

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of Level N2 Japanese certification preferred

  • BA degree in Finance/ Accounting

  • Project management skills

  • Potentially 1-3 yrs professional field experience * S4Hana& Data management knowledge
