Senior Advisor, Compliance Engineering, Controls Engineer

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization (SRO) manages the security risk across all aspects of Dell’s business. What you’ll achieve

Join us as a Senior Advisor, Controls Engineer on our Compliance Engineering team in Romania to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

You will:

  • Be part of the existing project team which is actively working to modernize our existing portfolio of company-wide Security Policies, Standards & Implementation Requirements

  • Drive and mature our security control monitoring activities on our high value IT applications, to scale out an existing program with the team

  • Partner with teams across SRO & Dell Digital IT to engage with application owners and help them drive remediation as needed

  • Drive the creation and maturation of company-wide security controls framework as part of a project team, and help its adoption across SRO teams

Essential Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience with Security controls implementation and compliance management (inclusive of Cybersecurity, Physical Security, Enterprise Resiliency, and Product Application Security controls)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for communicating with a wide range of stakeholders (new hires through executive leadership)

  • Proven experience using GRC technology

  • Familiarity with and/or direct experience leveraging the Secure Controls Framework in building and deploying a complex, customized, organization-specific controls framework

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • Professional certifications in Information Systems/Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA etc); previous experience as an external auditor would be a plus
