We are looking for our future Business Development Manager to further develop our Emergency Care activity (defibrillators, stretchers,etc.) in the Eastern Europe and Israel .

Role summary:

You will vision, direction and leadership in the development, implementation and execution of strategic plans focused on sales growth and brand recognition of Medical EMS and Hospital products in Eastern Europe and Israel. In this role you will hold full responsibility to achieve and exceed annual sales revenue & margin targets for the Region. You will be expected to spend most of your time in the field working with the Indirect Channel Partners/distributors. Duties include, but not limited to development and implementation of country business plans driving growth, selection, on boarding and termination of indirect channel partners, strong adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements and strong business ethics.

What you will do:

  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets for the Region.

  • Develops and implements regional business plans to consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota through Indirect Channel Partners - Distributors. Including reviews and selection of best partners.

  • Collaborate with EMEA and Stryker counterparts globally, lead with vision and inspire a “can do” team spirit. Apply conflict resolution where required, facilitate change and solve problems in the best interest of the company.

  • Responsible for providing guidance to marketing team to prioritize country and regional market needs. Ensure professional effective launching of new products.

  • Develops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions. Assist in KOL development, GPO opportunities, and negotiations / prioritization, coordinate KOL events.

  • Work with the indirect teams (distributors) in the field to maximize customer touches and opportunities. Conduct direct EMS and hospital sales activities and ensure smooth “Pull-Through” with Distribution partners.

  • Ensure accurate sales forecasts each month/quarter for the purpose of Medical’s Manufacturing and Sales Forecasting requirements.

  • Promote Emergency Care solutions capabilities, values and benefits and technical information to target customers in the specific market.

  • Responsible for keeping the Global Medical & EMEA Teams informed of all sales related activity, market trends, highlights and competitor activity within the region.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders focused on maximizing opportunities and solving problems at their level.

  • Coordinate with existing and future enabling functions (i.e. ICM, Services, QA, Regulatory, Customer Care) in EMEA and the US to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely manner.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Medical.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales or marketing experience, within a multinational company in the medical devices/disposables/capital equipment field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Distributor management

  • Proficient in both written & spoken English.

  • Strong selling, negotiation and communications skills

  • Strategic and analytical thinking abilities and able to take decisions.

  • High level of trust and integrity.

  • Ability to work in a team and to solve problems

  • Proactive style.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Diplomacy and awareness of cultural issues

  • Flexibility to travel within / beyond the region. (up to 70%).

  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, motivating and developing strong sales team.
