Job Description

The Commercial Business Analyst is responsible for preparing tender Financials that enable informed commercial decision. The analyst delivers high value contribution in the tendering process by providing trust to the numbers and driving key elements of profitability, cash optimization, capital discipline and risk management, in line with corporate objectives. By ensuring integrity and facilitating compliance, the analyst protects shareholders’ value and interests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender financial package (P&L, FCF, ROA) with sensitivity analysis to enable management decision making.

  • Obtain required information from various stakeholders in the Commercial Center and the geographies (Sales & Commercial, Service Delivery, Procurement, etc.).

  • Provide analysis, insights, and alternative recommendation to drive key elements of profitability, cash optimization, capital discipline and risk management.

  • Quantify risk contingency and contribute to response plan (protection and mitigation).

  • Provide visibility and reduce financial risks by obtaining required approvals on payment terms, capex and inventory requirements, bank guarantee, tax elements.

  • Facilitate tender financials validation by the Geo Units.

  • Support Contract Performance assessment.

  • Contribute to tender financial package standardization and industrialization across BL and geographies.

  • Deploy and leverage on tender financial digital tools (BPC for Tenders, Unit Cost Library) to drive higher efficiency.

  • Participate in knowledge transfer and training sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience.

  • Preferred candidate to have prior experience in audit/advisory services within a Big4 or a financial/business analyst background in a major corporation.

  • Preferred candidate to have a Master’s degree with a strong background in Finance, Accounting or Marketing.

  • Professional Qualification is an asset (CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA)

  • Strong Microsoft excel skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is preferable.

  • Digital mindset, with preferable experience using data visualization reporting tools.

  • Ambition, self-driven put skills in action.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Willing to learn new skills.

  • Effective communication skill.

  • Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, good business intuition.

  • Strong team player.
