Essential Functions

POSITION IS ONSITE IN NEWPARK'S BUCHAREST OFFICE

Essential Functions :

  • Perform the day-to-day finance activities within the finance team.

  • Ensure timely and accurate booking (RAS, US GAAP) of ︁various GL entries (Revenues, OPEX, CAPEX, etc.)

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations:

  • Perform month-end activities as required for reporting within a tight schedule.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to help produce accurate reporting.

  • Key Performance Indicators analysis.

  • Analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.

  • Prepare variance analysis on balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial (ad-hoc) reports.

Qualifications

  • University or equivalent degree in Economics.

  • Proficient knowledge of written/spoken English.

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a multinational organization.

  • Knowledge of an ERP solution (Oracle, SAP, similar) is a plus.

  • MS Office (Word, Excel).

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or educational equivalent. Entry level. Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Good attention to detail with good analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good PC skills. Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, assists in the day-to-day accounting activities which may include maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and/or in the preparation of basic financial reports. Responsible for the accruals and plans for ledgers and bank reconciliation. Assists the accounting staff in monthly closes of the ledger. Assists in various account reconciliations and analysis. Handles special projects, as assigned.
