Eurofins Receptionist in Brussels, Belgium

We are seeking a dynamic Receptionist to manage front-of-house operations at our Brussels facility. The role includes welcoming visitors, managing administrative tasks for the Facilities Management team, and supporting various office functions. As the first point of contact for guests and employees, the Receptionist will ensure a professional and friendly environment, contributing to the efficient running of the site.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Greet visitors with a warm and professional welcome.
Provide site inductions for visitors and engineers.
Handle all incoming calls and inquiries promptly, ensuring a courteous response.
Assist with booking meeting rooms in advance and on the day.
Provide administrative support to the Facilities Management team.
Cover for colleagues during sickness or holidays across support functions.
Receive and manage incoming post and operate the franking machine.
Take basic training in other areas of the support functions, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience in a reception or customer-facing role is desirable.
Knowledge of facilities management is preferred.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key staff members.
Ability to manage workload effectively under changing priorities.
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
High personal integrity and professionalism, with the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
High levels of concentration, accuracy, and reliability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT literacy.
Person-Specific Attributes:
Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
Very good command of English is essential, with additional language skills being a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Ability to work independently and take initiative while remaining responsive to direction when needed.
