Product Manager

HIV Business Unit BENELUX

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketer as a Product Manager to be a key member of the HIV Business Unit BENELUX – based out of our Brussels office in Diegem. We are looking for someone with proven experience in a Pharmaceutical marketing role, who is looking to take the next step in their career development.

The role will have key responsibilities as part of the wider marketing team, helping to drive and shape the commercial output of our HIV portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the brand planning process for relevant brands – support the cross functional team with relevant strategy and tactics

  • Supporting our Omnichannel engagement strategy, with an emphasis on understanding appropriate channel mix with defined KPI measures

  • Member of the brand team, working across other XF departments and seeking alignment with other stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities, including close working with agencies, procurement and relationship management

  • Lead and delivery of key promotional and disease awareness events at conferences etc through the year

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise resource to ensure optimised outcomes

  • Ensures that all marketing activities are in compliant with Gilead SOP and Code of Practices

Profile:

  • A team player with a understanding of the culture we are building. One Team, focused, brave in decision making and aligned to the company core values.

  • Experience in marketing plan development and implementation, budget management and proven success of operationalising.

  • Innovation of ideas, an ability to handle multiple facets of commercial roles.

  • Leadership of cross functional initiatives, plans & strategy with proven results

  • Strong team ethic and proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Good knowledge of Dutch and Belgium Healthcare environment

  • Good analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and then come up with appropriate cross-functional solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing are required.

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Advanced planning and organisational skills, including ability to follow tasks/assignments through to completion

  • Demonstrated understanding of external and internal pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is required

  • Strategic thinker, clear presenter and able to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • This role will report into the Sr. Business Unit Director BENELUX
