SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES

Eurofins is undergoing a significant IT and infrastructure transformation to address new security challenges across regions. A critical part of this effort involves updates to the company's Information Systems (EurIS), including the central and regional web-based Marketing & Offer applications known as ComLIMS.

 

The ComLIMS (Communication and Laboratory Information Management System) and ADMS (Account Data Management System) Programs at Eurofins include two internally developed web applications and various support services (such as reporting, data, and business intelligence). These tools are essential for Eurofins laboratories worldwide, aiding in their sales and production processes for analytical services. The programs play a vital role in Eurofins' strategy, enabling efficient cross-selling between laboratories. Additionally, the programs' components and data are integrated into numerous Eurofins applications, making it a key initiative within the global Eurofins Group.

 

This position is part of the ComLIMS and ADMS PMO Team (Project Management Office). The role involves managing several PMO responsibilities, including overseeing Program Service Cards, Cost Models, and SLA/OLA management. Additionally, the position involves administration of the ComLIMS and ADMS SharePoint sites, resource management, governance, license management, training, NPS surveys, internal processes, KPIs, risk and security management.

 

Team missions & objectives:

The position is part of the ComLIMS and ADMS PMO Team, which focuses on the following missions:

  • Support and Training: Provide guidance, support, coaching, and training for both programs in key areas:

  • Program Service Cards, Cost Models, and Service Level Agreements: Ensure the services we offer are clearly communicated to our internal customers (Eurofins business) and that our SharePoint sites are well-governed and organized.

  • Team Organization and Resource Management: Maintain and update team structures, resource management, organizational charts, governance, and team-building activities to ensure they are current and well-managed.

  • Internal Processes and KPIs: Oversee and enhance internal processes, track, and improve KPIs, automate processes where possible, and make this information readily available to all stakeholders. Provide analysis and recommendations as needed.

  • Transversal Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects that require collaboration across multiple teams or provide support to teams that need additional coordination resources.

  • License Management: Oversee the management and auditing of licenses related to the ComLIMS and ADMS programs to ensure cost efficiency.

  • Risk and Security Management: Manage and mitigate risks associated with the ComLIMS and ADMS programs, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

  • Internal Auditing: Conduct internal audits, report findings, and coach teams on process improvements, risk management, security, and KPI enhancement.

     

Responsibilities:

  • Active Participation: Be an integral part of the ComLIMS and ADMS PMO team (5 members) and contribute to projects related to internal organization, processes, efficiency, KPIs, resource management and more.

  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with ComLIMS/ADMS and Eurofins teams, including Management, Product Owners, Development Managers, and Support teams, to ensure smooth coordination and communication.

  • Project Involvement: Actively contribute to PMO projects, collaborating effectively with other PMO members.

  • Project Management: Independently or collaboratively manage projects, including requirements gathering, design, proposal, approval, implementation, review, documentation, and closure.

  • Meeting Deadlines: Ensure projects are completed on time and with quality outputs, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

  • Learning and Development: Continuously learn and apply project management methodologies, process management, Agile/Scrum, SharePoint, Excel macros, SQL, coding, and other relevant skills, with support and coaching from PMO members.

  • Documentation: Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

  • Tool Development: Be open to designing and developing small tools to support PMO activities.

Other assignments:

 

  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular updates to your manager as required.

  • Knowledge Acquisition: Quickly gain a working knowledge of Eurofins EurIS systems, particularly ComLIMS and ADMS, including the underlying concepts, models, processes, and practices of the team.

  • Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships with IT and non-IT teams within Eurofins, promoting reuse and sharing within the wider EurIS community.

Initial Education Background:

  • Computer Science or Information System Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Language skills and level expected 

  • English (fluent) required.

Type and duration of previous experience:

Ideally having IT background education such as Computer Science or Information System Management with minimum 2 years of experience in project management, business process and/or software development experience in an international environment.

Technical knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Excel macro.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and reports using SQL DB.

  • Knowledge/Experience of configuration and maintenance of SharePoint is a plus.

  • Knowledge/Experience of ASP.NET (Framework 3.5/4.0). MVC 3 or above, Web API is welcome.

  • Knowledge/Experience of Agile/Scrum is a plus.

  • Knowledge/Experience of scripting (VTL, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.

  • Knowledge/Experience of UML is a plus.

  • Knowledge/Experience of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS is a plus.

  • Knowledge/Experience of DevOps, Azure, GIT is a plus.
