As Disease State Specialist Obesity & Metabolic Health and Colorectal (OMH + CR) you will have a combined role focussing on both the bariatric and colorectal market in Belgium North (Flanders). You will play a key role in making our local strategies a success, by creating

a tailored approach that focusses on the (further) development of the bariatric and colorectal market in your region, and on increasing our market share and revenue in morbid obesity and colorectal (surgical) care especially focusing on carefully selected target accounts.

A Day in the Life

• Design service offerings for selected accounts that serve their needs and help to develop and grow their center

• Execute on process optimization, development and growth projects in close collaboration with representatives of the centers and partnering with IHS (Integrated Health Solutions)

• Initiate events and activities that create awareness and increase patient access

• Conduct competitive market analysis and market research

• Pro-actively, evaluate and act on opportunities as well as threats associated with the competitive landscape and capture key trends in your region and provide feedback to the European organization

• Further develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management

• Develop and maintain key relations/collaboration with scientific Societies and patient associations relevant for OMH and CR

• Seve as a committed point of contact for target centers

• Co-develop and implement new service offerings in close alignment with OMH and CR European team

Must Haves

• University Degree

• 3+ years of relevant work experience (consultancy, marketing, sales) preferably within the healthcare sector

• Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and English

• Persuasive personality able to makes things happen

• Ability to interact and negotiate with healthcare professionals, managers and senior leadership

• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand local markets and customer needs

• Excellent presentation skills and outstanding communication skills

• Experienced project manager and coordinator

• Comfortability using ICT tools like Microsoft Office, ERP, Salesforce.com

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience (within healthcare)

• Capability to establish and use networks to acquire information

• Process improvement experience

• French language capability
