Job Summary

Astound Broadband is hiring for a Broadband Network Technician I in the Brownwood, Texas area! The Broadband Network Technician I will be responsible for the detection, troubleshooting, and resolution of system outages for data, video, and telephone services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain system connectivity through detecting, troubleshooting, and resolving outages.
  • Provide emergency restoration of coax and underground cable.
  • Installing and troubleshooting fiber cables, restoring and repairing lines.
  • Maintenance of power supplies, leakage and splicing.
  • Maintain proper documentation of rendered services.
  • Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
