Robert Half Fixed Asset Project Manager in Brownsburg, Indiana

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment/consulting opportunity for a Fixed Asset Project Manager in Brownsburg, Indiana - onsite 5 days per week for 1 year! This role is crucial for our client as it involves comprehensive management of the company's fixed assets, which are material to their balance sheet. This position focuses on the strategic implementation of improvement strategies, regulatory compliance, accounting and financial reporting in relation to fixed assets.

Location: Brownsburg, Indiana onsite 5 days per week for a period of 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all fixed assets of the company adhering to company policies and international and national regulatory requirements.

• Lead monthly and year-end close activities and reconciliations related to fixed assets.

• Enhance and refine fixed assets operations and procedures by implementing continuous improvement strategies.

• Utilize and leverage software tools such as Excel Pivots, VLOOKUPs, and Oracle Cloud to optimize fixed asset management.

• Maintain detailed records for audit purposes and account for fixed assets with precision and consistency.

• Handle project-related tasks and responsibilities during parental leaves on the team(s).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• Minimum of four years' experience in fixed asset management.

• Proficiency in fixed asset accounting in accordance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud or equivalent ERP and/or asset management systems.

• Strong Excel skills - formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.

• Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and interface with multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CA, CGA, CMA or equivalent certification.

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Assets or similar (fixed asset) systems.

• Experience managing fixed assets in a large organization.

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and management of fixed assets.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Construction/Contractor industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Knowledge and experience in fixed assets

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is a must

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Auditing processes and the use of Oracle, Oracle 11i, and Oracle Analytics Cloud

• Familiarity with IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds and IFRS Accounting

• Expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting, Fixed Asset Additions, Fixed Asset Depreciation, and Fixed Asset Inventory

• Experience in managing Fixed Asset Ledger, Fixed asset management, Fixed Asset Register, and Fixed Asset Records

• Proficiency in using Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Table.
