Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking anIrrigation Technicianfor the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!
The Irrigation Technician position is primarily responsible for operation and repair of the irrigation system as a whole to ensure proper water distribution as required for optimum turf health.
The Omni Interlocken Golf Club is a 27 hole facility located in Broomfield, Colorado, just minutes outside of Boulder. Opening in 1999, we are a semi-private golf club that offers a high-end golf experience to our members and guests. Salary for this position (based on experience): $20.00/hour. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off.

Responsibilities
Large equipment operation such as tractors and mowers
Hand watering
Golf Course setup
Fertilizer/pesticide applications and calibration
Irrigation maintenance and repair
Responsible for leading small teams in finishing assignments and projects
Accountable for maintaining clean/safe work areas and vehicles
Trains employees on various tasks to high standards of work and safety
Attend all company required training sessions and continuing education.
Job task assignments will extend beyond these essential functions in times of need
Qualifications
Working knowledge of cool season grasses, cultural practices, and common maintenance practices.
Follow specific written and verbal instruction.
Two or four year turf degree, or applicable field of study, previous work experience on a golf course maintenance team will also be considered.
Comfortable working with hazardous equipment.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels rules regulations and standards as outlined in the Omni Hotels employee handbook.
Valid drivers license.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Standing, bending, sitting for long periods of time.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
