Vail Resorts Digital Marketing Senior Specialist in Broomfield, Colorado

Target Salary: $50,000 – $60,000

Job Summary:

Join the Digital Experience team as a Senior Specialist with specialized focus on supporting the digital content and ecommerce strategy for our Epic Pass business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that drives guest experience and ecommerce initiatives across our Epic Pass and resort websites. An ideal fit for this role would be a data-driven, guest-centric marketer who is passionate about digital innovation and delivering an exceptional experience in line with Vail Resorts’ mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute content and functional web changes to support branded content and SEO initiatives, site and feature enhancements, personalization, and digital A/B tests.

  • Support ecommerce product enablement through the planning, configuration and testing, and launch of pass products in line with digital strategies.

  • Optimize content using data through the analysis of user behavior and performance using analytics reporting tools.

  • Collaborate with IT and business partners on new platform functionality, improvements, best practices, and break fixes.

  • Triage and troubleshoot website and app bugs to support content editors, A/B testing, and new feature launches; requires occasional on-call support.

  • Maintain best practices and documentation resources to be used by digital marketers, IT, and other project stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position (marketing, e-commerce, app, or other website marketing).

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) preferred.

  • Experience working with content management systems like Sitecore, ContentStack, Umbraco, WordPress, etc.

  • Experience utilizing data analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Mouseflow, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting and leading meetings.

  • Experience problem solving with stakeholders outside immediate team and explaining technical issues in business terms.

  • Experience prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently based on larger goals.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $55,000 - $60,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment where employees living within 50 miles of the Broomfield office work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays. Employees living outside of a commutable distance can work remotely from British Columbia, Washington D.C., and the 16 U.S. states* in which we currently operate. This includes: California, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Washington State, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
