Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to supervise and coordinate the activities of craft personnel engaged in the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products, systems, and structures. Our company handles all aspects of commercial and industrial construction, including new construction, renovations, remodels, and additions.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brooklyn, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Commercial construction environment with a focus on small to mid-size projects. Occasionally, large-scale projects may also be part of the workflow. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, with variations based on project needs. During winter months, expect 36-40 hours per week, while spring through fall may range from 40-50 hours or more. The company primarily operates within Dane County but may extend up to 50 miles from Madison. Travel and per diems for specific traveling jobs may be available. Employees can meet at the shop each morning or go directly to the job site. If meeting at the shop, riding along in a company truck is an option. Crew sizes vary between 2-10 people depending on the project. The pay range is typically $25-$28 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and tenure, with potential for higher pay with an outstanding resume. Reviews occur at 1 month, 3 months, 5 months, and annually.
