He/she answers and assists callers, collaborates with appropriate parties to obtain documentation, signatures, consent forms, and processes and assigns new referrals to team members. He/she will also assist in resolving insurance documentation, retrieval, and date of death issues. Job Description: Principle Responsibilities Provides support to the MedEligible department. Answers calls from patients, clients, customers, and team members. Completes requests for medical records for Social Security appeals cases. Assists patients with Medical Assistance and/or charity care applications and obtaining required verification. Processes and assigns new referrals to team members. Obtains documentation to complete files. Processes verification requests. Collaborates with patients to obtain documentation, signatures, and consent forms. Resolves insurance documentation, retrieval, date of death issues, and bills insurance. Processes MedEligible checks. Other duties as assigned.
