Responsibilities - Cook The Cook is responsible for creating high quality food for customers by meal preparation and meal service consistent with established state and local food code and regulations, procedures and best practices. Job duties include cooking, baking, equipment and operations cleaning, etc. Prepares hot and cold meals for residents, coffee shop and special functions, and performs general cleaning duties. Special knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus and production sheets. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate through oral and written skills. Able to meet physical demands of position. Able to read and follow production sheets, menus and recipes.
